Bodies create spaces, spaces create forms
In Between explores the relationship between body, form and space. Starting from a mass of clay, pressure, weight and movement are translated directly into the material. The resulting forms preserve traces of these physical encounters while becoming independent sculptural objects. When brought back into contact with the body, new temporary configurations emerge, exploring how bodies create forms and how forms, in turn, alter bodies and space.
